September \u2013 UCAS Applications Open<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Start Your Application<\/strong>: UCAS applications typically open in early September. This is the time to begin filling out your details and starting your personal statement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2. 15 October \u2013 Early Application Deadline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>For Certain Courses<\/strong>: The deadline for applications to Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, and Veterinary Science courses, as well as all courses at Oxford and Cambridge.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>3. 31 January \u2013 Main Application Deadline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Most Courses<\/strong>: This is the main deadline for most undergraduate courses. Make sure your application is submitted by this date to be considered equally by universities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4. February \u2013 Extra Applications Open<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>If You Have No Offers<\/strong>: UCAS Extra allows students who have used all five choices but are not holding any offers to apply for another course.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>5. March \u2013 Decisions Due from Universities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Universities Respond<\/strong>: Universities will typically make their offers by late March or early April. You\u2019ll need to respond to your offers by the deadline UCAS provides.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>6. June \u2013 Final Application Deadline<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Last Chance<\/strong>: If you missed the January deadline, you can still apply by the end of June. August \u2013 SQA Results Day<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Confirming Places<\/strong>: Scottish students receive their SQA results in early August, and this is when UCAS will confirm your place if you meet the conditions of your offer. Clearing remains open for students who need it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>9. September \u2013 University Courses Begin<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Time to Start<\/strong>: Courses typically begin in September.
