We are delighted to announce that Castle Douglas High School have passed the LGBT Charter at Bronze level.
This award sends a positive message that Castle Douglas High School is a champion of inclusion where all young people including those who identify as LGBTQ+, staff, parents and learners will be safe, supported and included.

New LGBT Youth Group
Dumfries & Galloway Council’s Youth Work Service has established a new youth group for LGBT young people, their friends and supporters in Castle Douglas. The group runs from 5-6pm on Friday evenings at the town hall. If you’d like more information in the meantime you can email your local youth worker, Rhona; Rhona.Jones@dumgal.gov.uk.
